Infant Skylar Rae Purnell was born and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Carol Jo Vecchie Center at St. John’s Hospital. Skylar is survived by her father and mother, Matthew Ryan Purnell and Bobbi Jo Pudschun of Edinburg; one brother, Gaige Purnell; paternal grandparents, Cheryl McKnelly of Rochester and Roger (wife, Tonya) Purnell of Springfield; maternal grandmother, Kathy Pudschun of Rochester; great-grandparents, Richard and Patsy Smith of Springfield, Everett and Virginia Rush of Athens and Janet Ford of Springfield; and three aunts, Toni Pudschun of Rochester and Kaitlyn and Starr Purnell of Springfield. The family welcomes friends to join them for graveside ceremonies at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
