She was born on August 31, 1912 in Blanford, IN, the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Baldon) Thompson. She married Ted R. Freeman and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker.
She is survived by 2 sons, Ted Freeman of Terre Haute, IN, and John H. Freeman of Martinsville, IN, a daughter Ruth Vonmock of Chatham, IL, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 2 pm at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
