Steven Prior, 63, of Springfield, died at 5:17 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Steven was born December 6, 1953 in Springfield, the son of Rolly and Betty Powers Prior. Steven worked for the Bricklayers Union, Local #8, for over 30 years and retired in 2010. He enjoyed fishing, small motors, everything outdoors and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father; and four siblings, Rick Prior, Janet Farley, Jake Prior, and Lorelei Prior. He is survived by his mother, Betty of Springfield; daughters, Tiffany (Troy) Wise and Rachael Prior, both of Springfield; grandchildren, Taylor (Phil) David of Chicago, Corey Wise, Jake (Taysia) Wise, and Tomi (Abbie) Wise, all of Springfield, Adrian Wise of Florida, and Jonathan Wise and Avery Wise, both of Springfield; siblings, Terry Prior and Linda Angeles, both of Springfield, and Peggy (Steve) Jones of Pawnee; three great-grandchildren, Reagan David, Rhyan Wise, and Addelynn Wise. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Ceremonies are currently pending.
