

Tami was born on June 27, 1960, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of John Richard and Donna Jean Schofield.
She graduated from Southeast High School in 1978. Tami worked as a bartender and was always the life of the party. She was a free spirit, funny, and loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved hanging out with her girlfriends, who were lifetime friends. Tami loved watching sports, especially college football and basketball. She collected many things, loved the beaches of Florida, enjoyed playing frisbee, golf, reading, and riding her bike.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna J. Schofield.
Tami is survived by her daughter, Haley (Chad Oldridge) Whitehurst of Pleasant Plains; father, Dick Schofield of Springfield; grandchildren, Pyper and A.J. Oldridge; sister, Kim (Dennis) Werth of Springfield; brother, Dick Schofield of MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Ave. West, Springfield. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings.
