Teresa Marie Egizii

Teresa Marie Egizii passed away early Saturday morning. She was born September 28, 1922, the daughter of Vincent and Teresa Connor. She married George Egizii on September 20, 1941 at St. Agnes Church. She is survived by her husband, George Egizii of Springfield; three daughters Mary Jo Egizii, Katie Antonacci (husband Joe) and Maureen Egizii; a son-in-law Dave Martin; two granddaughters, Erin Moore (husband Van) and Libby Spengler (husband Aaron); three grandsons, Mike Martin, Chris Martin, and Joel Antonacci (wife Becky), and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Loretta Jones and Etta Dold and her daughter George Ann Martin. Teresa was a devoted wife and fantastic mother. Teresa was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. Family will receive friends from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Kirlin Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 South 6th Street, Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1725 South Walnut, Springfield.
