Teresa Geary Farley

Teresa Geary Farley, 41, of Springfield, died at 8:11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. John's Hospital. Teresa was born August 25, 1972 in Springfield, the daughter of Terry and Patricia Graham Geary. Teresa was a graduate of Lanphier High School and worked for St. Joseph's Home as a CNA. She was a medical assistant and dog breeder that loved animals, especially basset hounds. She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Geary and an infant son, Timothy. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Geary of Springfield; one daughter, Kala Farley (fianc, Anthony Delgado) of Springfield; three siblings, Tim (wife, Cindy) Geary and Michelle (husband, Terry) Cassidy, both of Springfield, and Joy (husband, Barry) Schleyhahn of Kincaid; one granddaughter, Corah Delgado; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends, Ericca and Betty; and her beloved dogs. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. The family will host a celebration of life at the VFW Post 10302, 2349 Stockyard Rd., Springfield from 3:00 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013.
