

Theresa B. Aimen, 102, of Springfield, died at 11:35 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2005 at Regency Nursing Care Residence. Theresa was born July 2, 1903 the daughter of William and Margaret Shannon Dacy. She married Arch Aimen; he preceded her in death in 1962. Mrs. Aimen was first employed at Bell Telephone. She later went to beauty school and became a hair stylist and specialist. At 60, she began work as a Housemother at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria and retired when she was 70. She was also preceded in death by five sisters: Margaret Costello, Rose Senger, Mary Leah Dacy, Lal Dacy and Jewel Mesler and four brothers: Jim, Dan, Pat and Willie Dacy. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos, Springfield. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2005 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Donald Meehling celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
