Tom was born in Springfield, the son of Robert L. and Delores E. (DeArmond) Flemming Sr. His mother preceded him in death. Tom married Debbie Shade in Memphis TN, July 6, 2012 and she survives.
He is also survived by his son, Kevin (wife Melissa) Flemming of Chatham, his daughter, Aimee (husband John) Geyston of Springfield, 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, his father, Robert L. (companion Phyllis Spurney) of Sawyerville, IL, 2 brothers; James “Jim” (wife Kathy) Flemming and Robert “Bob” (wife Barb) Flemming, both of Springfield, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tom was a tool and die maker with Bunn-O-Matic for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter, a member of the NRA, Central Gun Club, and Duck Unlimited. He enjoyed motorcycling and was an member of A.B.A.T.E.
Honoring Tom’s wishes, his funeral services will be private.
