Thomas Kopina Safranski was born December 15, 2015 at St. John�s Hospital to Frank Daniel and Elizabeth Marie Thomas Safranski of Chatham. Thomas�s twin sister, Jordyne Michelle Safranski, who was born shortly after Thomas was born, survives. Thomas was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Russell Thomas, George and Betty Bolen, Frank and Flora Safranski and Daniel and Marcella Kopina. He will be greatly missed by his parents and twin sister; grandparents, Russ and Mary Beth Thomas of Bloomington, David and Karen Safranski of Granville; great grandmother, Evelyne Thomas of Bloomington; aunts, Jessica Keener of Clayton, NC, Catheryne (Jon) Popovitch of Springfield, Christopher Safranski (fianc�e Kristen Beversdorf) of Peru, and Rachel Safranski (husband John Dore) of Chicago; cousins, Adrian, Arek and David. His parents are members of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Chatham. Cremation rites were accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham. A Naming and Blessing Ceremony were held for Thomas at Staab Polk Memorial Home 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, with Paula Staab Polk as Celebrant.
