

Victoria Gailein White, 56, of Springfield, died on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at St. John's Hospice. Victoria was born on July 15, 1957 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Kenneth Wayne and Daisy Marie Sumpter Sanders. She married James K. Bordeaux-White on January 19, 1990 in Springfield. Victoria was a graduate of Jacksonville High School in 1975 and was employed as a CNA at Oak Terrace. She was a wonderful mom and was known for her infectious smile. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Marie Jones; grandparents, Otha Vernon "Dutch" and Grace Marie Sumpter, Edward Lee Sanders, and Sarah Anna Potter; niece, Amber Gailein Sanders; and nephew, Kenneth Vernon Sanders. She is survived by her husband, Jim Bordeaux-White of Springfield; son, Christopher (companion, Crystal Rogers) Jones of Springfield; daughter, Jami Bordeaux-White (fianc, Justin Brake) of Springfield; grandchildren, Xander, Maddix, and Gannon Jones, all of Springfield; parents, K. Wayne and Daisy Sanders of Meredosia; siblings, Kenneth M. (wife, Diana) Sanders and Anthony (wife, Cheryle) Sanders, both of Meredosia, and Sonya (husband, David) Dilley of Springfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Pastor Kenneth Sanders officiating.
