Vincent J. Roscetti

Vincent was born March 20, 1911 in Springfield the son of Berardino and Concilla Antonacci Roscetti. He married Flora Vespa; she preceded him in death November 28, 1988.

Mr. Roscetti retired from Peabody Coal Company as the Chief Electrician. He attended St. Aloysius Catholic Church and was a member of the United Mine Workers Association Local #9819.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by one daughter: Barbara R. (husband, Paul) Sternitzke of Springfield; two sons: Dr. James L. (wife, Lorna) Roscetti of Auburn, WA, David V. (wife, Tsukiko) Roscetti of Greenwich, CT; four grandchildren: William Paul (wife, Brenda) Sternitzke of Springfield, Vincent James (wife, Diana) Sternitzke of Rochester, Michael David Roscetti of Auburn, WA, Patrick James Roscetti of Auburn, WA; three great grandchildren; one sister: Jennie Mitchell of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 12-1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Liebler officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
