Warren Carlton Foran

Husband, uncle and friend to many, Warren Carlton Foran died July 7, 2011 at St. John's Hospital. The son of John Foran and Alice Curry, Warren was born in Bement on September 23, 1928. During high school, he ran the movies at the Bement Theatre. Warren graduated from Bement High School and went to work for his father at International Harvester Co. After many years working for his family, he went to work for the Dept. of Revenue where he was the Bureau Chief. Warren married Jane Delano Foran in 1969. After his retirement, he enjoyed all of his many hobbies, including photography and archiving music, news and current events, and going to the YMCA. His parents; two brothers, John and Martin; two sisters, Mary and Eileen preceded him in death along with his brother-in-law, Charles "Chick" Delano; and his dog, Herman. Warren is survived by his wife, Jane; his sister, Madonna (husband, Robert) Jeffers; sisters-in-law, Barbara Delano, Jean Foran and Betty Foran; brother-in-law, Larry Rogers; nieces and nephews, Charles (Erika) Delano IV, Sarah (Tom) Pavlik, Cathleen (Patrick) Sweeten, John (Lisa) Delano, Ann (Keith) Bunnell, Kevin (Annie) Delano, Irv Foran, Steve (Bev) Hendrix, Andrea Doty, Kurt, Kyle (Kelly) and Kraig (Marisa) Rogers, Kim (Robert) Dodenhoff, Cynthia (Bruce) Wald, Mary Foran, John (Connie) Foran, and Mike (Debbie) and Patty Jeffers; and great-nieces and nephews, Charlie, Mary, Tim and Julia Delano, Mike, Grace and Chris Sweeten, Gabrielle and Danielle Delano, Nicholas, Mark, and Noah Bunnell and Caroline Delano. A private family burial will be held. There will be a Memorial Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield with Rev.
