Warren J. Taylor

Warren J. Taylor, 53, of Springfield, passed away Friday afternoon, May 25, 2018 surrounded by friends at his home. Warren was born August 20, 1964 in Jacksonville, the son of the late Byron "Barney" and Betty Campbell Taylor. He worked as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Winchester for many years. However, most people know Warren as the owner of Audio Solutions, Inc. He loved music and provided central Illinois with amazing technical skills as a premier sound engineer. Warren also loved animals, fast cars, riding motorcycles and traveling. He made friends everywhere he went, including his favorite place to visitthe beautiful state of Colorado. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by the friends he called family. Warren is survived by his half-brother, Richard Taylor of Jacksonville; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle, Warren E. Campbell and wife, Jean; and his uncle, Joseph Taylor. Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
