

Wendy E. Bryant, 64, of Springfield, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her residence. Wendy was born on December 4, 1951 in Springfield, the daughter of Wendell C. and Phyllis A. Haskell Keran. She married Richard Bryant on June 29, 1974 in Springfield. Wendy was a 1969 graduate of Lanphier High School. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Central IL Kidney & Dialysis her whole career. She enjoyed traveling, reading, pets, volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House and learning about American History. Wendy was a selfless, caring, and happy person. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Richard Bryant of Springfield; her sons, Daniel L. (wife, Teryn) of Westmont, IL and Jacob C. (wife, Amanda) Bryant of Springfield; two grandchildren, Asher K. and Ardyn H. Bryant; her mother, Phyllis A. Keran of Springfield; and six siblings, Cheryl (husband, Gary) Williams, Michael (wife, Vicky) Keran, and Charles (wife, Monica) Keran, all of Springfield, Corley (wife, Josie) Keran of Sao Paolo, Brazil, Jeffrey (companion, Pam) Keran of Rushville, and Christina (husband, Tony) Naylor of Athens; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Memorial Ceremony: 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
