William "Bill" James Ferry, 59, of Springfield, died at 12:47 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. Bill was born February 21, 1958 in Greenville, the son of William Thomas Ferry and Marge "Sunshine" Anders. Bill enjoyed fishing, drinking beer, gambling, and scratch off tickets. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Eugene Ferry. He is survived by his children, Amber, Billy Jo, Jessica, Jacob, Joleen, Lindsey, Belinda, and Dustin; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Nancy, Linda, Bobby, Patti, Kenny, Tom and Nick; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
