William John Hundley Jr.

He was born in Springfield, January 6, 1956, the son of William John and Katherine Irene (Dooley) Hundley Sr. His parents preceded him in death.

Bill graduated from Springfield Southeast High School Class of 1974. He was the owner and operator of Clean-Cut Landscaping. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed being outside. He was a loyal friend to many and loved nothing more than spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two children; Heather (Peter Hollenhorst) Hundley of Bloomington, IN, and William John Hundley III of Springfield, two grandchildren; Evan and Bryce Hollenhorst, two sisters; Juanita (Kenneth) Brown of Springfield, and Kathy (Greg) Womack of New Berlin, IL, a nephew, Jason Womack of Springfield, a niece, Jennifer (David) Strebel of Rosemount, MN, two great nephews and a great niece and his longtime companion, Angie Rowden. He is also survived by his three stepchildren: Kristi (Steve) Gammons of Texas, Kyle (Lindsey) Hillen of Springfield, IL and Tyler Hillen of California, five step-grandchildren: Mattyson, Bryson, Henry, Nickolas, and Izabella.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 14 at 1 pm at the Route 66 Hotel and Conference center. A light lunch will be served and all are welcome to come and share memories of Bill
