William R. Hunter

William “Bill” R. Hunter, 35, of Springfield, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2003 at his home. Bill was born May 3, 1968 in Springfield the son of Robert E. and Rosemary Carlton Hunter. Mr. Hunter attended Illinois Wesleyan University and graduated from Lincoln Land Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree. He was employed at the Illinois Department of Revenue as a System’s Analyst. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Carlton. He is survived by his mother: Rosemary Hunter of Springfield; father: Robert (wife, Nancy) of Virden; friend and companion: Karyn Tagnani of Springfield; one sister: Terry A. Hunter of Springfield; one brother: James E. Hunter (wife, Jerrie) of Chatham; grandparents: Evan & Virginia Hunter of Virden and Ruth Carlton of Springfield; four nieces and two nephews: Brittany, Chance, and Miranda Witt and Joel, Bailey, and Kendall Hunter and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2003. Memorial services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Dr. Joseph H. Eby officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to S.A.R.A Center, 1315 N. 5th St., Springfield, IL 62702. The family of William “Bill” R.
