

William Riley Robison, 72, of Lincoln, died at 11:25 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln. He was born on January 23, 1934 in Tallula, IL the son of Edgar and Arminta Monroe Robison. William was a very happy gentleman who will be remembered for how much he loved everybody he met. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and the harmonica. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Velma Green, Hally Ruggles, Villa Anderson and Mary Susie Robison and three brothers: Edward Lee Robison, Milburn Robison and Kelly Robison. He is survived by two sisters: Cindy Agans of Pawnee and Ivy Collins of Lincoln; one brother Robert (wife, Sheryl) Robison of East Peoria and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, with Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will follow at Salisbury Cemetery in Salisbury, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice Care of Illinois & VNA of Central IL, 720 North Bond St., Springfield, IL 62702-9914.
