William "Bill" Edward Weaver, 68, of Springfield, died at 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Bill was born August 3, 1946 in Springfield, the son of Max Heath and Mary Keller Weaver. Bill was a graduate of Springfield High School and attended Wabash Valley College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Wertheim, Germany. Bill loved golf, animals and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Clifford C. Cole. Bill is survived by two siblings, Max Richard Weaver (wife, Judith) of Arcola and Jennifer Jane Cole of Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Private family ceremonies will be held.
