What a special person she was . I worked at Memorial for 9 yrs , got married and moved to Chicago and then after 36 yrs moved back . I then went to the Memorial Retirees meetings even though I didn't retire from there and was so pleased to see familiar faces and Miss Fricke was one of them . Sending Prayers and sympathy to all of her family May she rest in peace

Miss Fricke was my boss and my friend. I was a senior student when she was head nurse on 7A. She was immaculate in uniform, kind, caring and helpful. Several years later as Director of Nursing she held head nurse meetings with Ed Curtis, Susan Lockenour, Alice Green and myself. Those were fun as well as informative! She was respected and set a positive example for all nurses. Even after she retired I could not call her Wilma. Thank you Miss Fricke for your patience and kindness. You will never be forgotten!

Miss Fricke was a picture-perfect example of a professional, kind, caring, and compassionate Nurse. I remember when I started my career at Memorial, she was always kind and supportive of new nurses and led by example. She inspired many Nurses to the call of duty.
