

Wilma L. Lima, 82, of Springfield, died at 3:38 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Wilma was born September 20, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Wilford and Nellie Gremar Brown. She married Jack A. Lima, Jr. on November 16, 1948 in St. Louis; he preceded her in death. Wilma worked for the Harris County Sheriff's office and the District's Attorney Office in Texas. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her pets, and watching Law & Order. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Michael and Terri (wife, Joann) Lima. She is survived by her children, Pam Derby of Spring, TX, Phil (former wife, Katharine) Lima of Springfield, and Bill (wife, Shelia) Lima of Katy, TX; eight grandchildren, Tracy Kristynik, Casey (husband, Scott Rogers) Boettcher, Lindsay (husband, Alan) Franklin, Whitney, Brittany, Tiffany and Jessica Lima, and Carrie Jo Siders; five great-grandchildren, Alli, Matthew, Mackenzie, Lane, and Cheyanne; her beloved dogs, Ginger and Chris; and her granddogs, Cubby, Layla, Lady, Rocky, Chico and Beto. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Graveside Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, with Gary Winkleman officiating.
