It's been 9 days since I was able to tell you that I love you and hear your sweet voice say it back.  I'm not sure if you ever knew just how very special you were to me. I'm not sure if I could even tell you why.  There was just something so special about you in my heart. Maybe it was because we were birthday twins😊Maybe it was the way you always greeted me with your beautiful warm smile😊Maybe it was how your hugs were always so warm and special 😊 Maybe it was because I didn't grow up with a grandma so I adopted you as such😊I do know one thing, I will miss you so very much! Thank you all so much for sharing your memories of my unforgettable mother. To explain just how much my mother means to me is an impossible task, but I want to make sure that I pay tribute to her. My mother was one of the strongest, bravest, and kindest humans to grace this planet.  My mom was the definition of grace.  She had graceful passion for life and living. She loved all living things from her noble Japanese maple to her meticulously groomed lawn to her plentiful flower blossoms to her numerous animal companions over the years to most of all, without measure, her dear family and friends!! My mom was a true American Patriot; the definition of a patriot is a person who loves, defends and zealously supports her country.  Never in her 84 years of living did she not respect and honor our military; her US flag always flew high! Without her, I wouldn't be here today, I wouldn't be the person I am, and I wouldn't have the life I have. She is everything to me, and more, and there's no way I could ever quantify the importance she's held in my life. My mother was the best mother a person could ask for. Mrs. Butcher was always laughing, smiling and encouraging of all the neighbor kids. She gave rides to softball practices and games and cheered us on when we performed skits. She never once seemed upset when I would often knock on their door at 6am on a summer morning to see if someone could play. Mrs Butcher was one of a kind! Yvonne was a senior at SHA when I was a Freshman. Freshies were often intimidated by seniors--not so with Yvonne! She was a real and bright presence there. Fast forward to my career as a Realtor--she and Bill were highly respected for their appraisal work. She has been a friendly presence in our newer neighborhood--riding her trike around and sharing her wit and caring. Then, there was the convertible, which Jack so envied! We are saddened for your loss--something we share. No one will ever take such care for that house! God bless.
