Shirley, I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Bond's passing. It was so nice to reconnect with her while I was working at Heartland. It was nice to talk to her about her days driving the bus with my grandma, Juanita Wheldon. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Ida was not only a bus driver she loved her kids on the bus. I was one of those lucky kids as was my brother. She treated us with such love and care. She was truly a lovely person even dealing with thousands of growing yelling children every year.. You will be missed my friend. Go rest in peace.

Please accept my condolences. Know that the God of all comfort feels your pain and sorrow . Isaiah 61:1,2 reads: He sent me (Jesus Christ) to bind up the broken-hearted... and to comfort all who mourn... may you all, also find comfort in those loving words.
