With heavy hearts, we share that our precious and beloved Allan “Al” Edward Meyer, passed away on August 11, 2026. He was a devoted grandfather and a loving father and husband. Allan is survived by his sister, Lila Jean Meyer Harris. Allan was pre-deceased by his first wife, Jacqueline Bailey Meyer, in 1993. He is survived by his second wife, Dorothy Joy Johnson Meyer; his children, Sheryl Meyer Rauer, Michael Allan Meyer, Shawn Meyer Nabors; and his seven grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 6 to 8 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Mark’s Lutheran church, 5800 Backlick Rd. Springfield, Va.
