Ann Ellen Holcomb, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2012 in Springfield, Virginia. Beloved wife of the late James F. Holcomb, she was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 23, 1929. She is survived by five children, James F. Holcomb, Jr., Robert C. Holcomb, Dennis B. Holcomb, Mary Hadra, and Patty Davis; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ann was a devoted mother and Army wife throughout her life.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151 with remembrances at 2:00 pm. Mass of Chrisitan Burial and interment will be at 10 a.m. on June 12, 2012 at the United States Military Academy Cemetery at West Point, alongside her beloved Jim.
