Well Dad it's still hard to believe that you have been taken from us and that we have no other choice to except it and try to understand that sometimes life ends too shortly but that doesn't mean you never lived your life as a part of mine. We were able to get in 34 years together. Where now I have many memories that I can cherish and carry on with me to share with your Grandson Evan and many other people. I hope and I truly believe you heard all of my words that I was speaking to you those days you laid in the hospital, or when I spoke at your funeral service and shared three pages of my very own words. I feel little vibes when I come visit you at your now resting spot and also at your house. There are several different things that give me the feeling that when I speak to you somehow it's being heard. Of course I wish you had more time on this earth with Mom, Evan, and I to be around and to talk with. I will miss hearing your voice and shaking your hand, hugs on Christmas and New Years. I know there will never be anymore phone calls to each other again but I want you to know that you are gone now but never will be forgotten. We won't be moving on but just going with the rest of our lives with the time we still have left here. As your spirit looks down on me from the skies above in heaven, my heart will always hold a spot with you in it as well as thoughts of you will pass through my mind. May God be with your Soul. Kit, so sorry that you have left this earth. I know you are having a wonderful time with your parents and Stripes. Keep watch over Margaret, Rich and Evan.  We will miss you!

It was a month ago today that I saw you take your last breath and my heart broke when yours stopped.  In our marriage vows it said to love til death do us part but I will always love you that love will never die.  You will always live on in my heart and in my memories.  I love you Kit forever.

Uncle Kit, may you rest in peace. We love you and will miss you. We know you are enjoying your time with Stripes now. Margaret and Rich, We are so sorry for your loss. We love you and are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Kit, I was so sad to see you leave us but I know in my heart you are at peace and pain free. I will remember all the good times we had when we could get you to come visit us and us coming to your place, your goofy laugh and even some of the quirky things you did, that just made you who you are. Most of all I will remember how kind and generous you were with my children and grandchildren. Love always❤

Margaret and Rich, Kit was a wonderful husband and father and grandfather. His smile and laughter will never be forgotten.  I pray that God holds both of you close and may your pain be less with each passing day. I am so sorry that he was taken from us but I know he is in heaven rejoicing with our Lord. Margaret, I am so very sorry for your loss.  Please know that my prayers, like all the others, are with you.

If I could use one word to sum up Kit it would be KIND. He always exuded an aura of kindness and concern for others.  He had a very welcoming quality and would always time out of his day to catch up, offer you a Dunkin' Donut, and share one of hundreds of DVD's in his movie collection.  Kit also spread his kindness around the community in various ways from being involved with Boy Scouts, driving a school bus, to playing an integral roll in the local little league SYC. I struggle to think of any time Kit didn't have a smile on his face and he will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.  My thoughts and prayers are with you the Kozel family as well as the local community in remembering Kit and allowing his kind spirit to live on in every one of us.
