Antoinette M. Fischman

Our dearest mom, Antoinette Fischman went to be with the Lord on December 3rd, 2023. She was a resident of Alexandria, VA and was 97 years old. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Washington, DC.

“Tonie”, as she was nicknamed, was a resident, (Queen), of Watergate at Landmark condominiums. She loved her condo and neighbors. She always put family first, loved animals, loved being a mom, most of all, loved life! She was always smiling and happy.

Antoinette was preceded by her husband Robert “Bob” Fischman last year. They were married 74 years. She is survived by daughters Darlene Duck and Dixie (Patrick) Turner who live in Texas, a grandson Lee Duck in California, a sister Sherine (Vincent) Emanuele, and many nieces and nephews who loved her also.

A visitation for Antoinette will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151, with a eulogy service beginning at 4:00 PM.
