Dear Kay and family,

Armand was a dear friend and boss.  I have many great memories of our time together and our walks at noon.  He was a great friend and will be sorely missed.

Armand and I met in the first grade at Our Lady of Sorrows and were extremely close for many, many years.  Together, we experienced all of the fun, happiness, and excitement that means so much to young people.  Armand was a very loyal friend and trusted companion who could have been a successful sports talk show host.  He knew just about everything there was to know about sports.  I watched him grow from an energetic Takoma Park teenager to a loving, caring husband, father, and ambitious government executive (his retirement party down at the Navy Yard was a wonderful afternoon spent with family and coworkers).  I will miss his cheerfulness, warm smile, and sensitive nature.  I pray for Kay, Matt, Chris and the rest of the family.  I will cherish the wonderful times spent with Armand and the many happy memories.  The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Armand in it.

I am deeply saddened by this sudden loss of such a great person. I will always appreciate the mentoring and friendship Armand demonstrated toward me as well as his professionalism and work ethic.  I am better for knowing him and he will be missed.

Armand was always fun to visit with.  I have very fond memories of our family visits up in VA and here in WV.  We always had great conversations and plenty of fun.  We sure will miss him and his great sense of humor.  Oh, the stories he could tell!  Our prayers are with you all as you deal with the sadness of his death.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Armand was a dear friend of mine.  We first met in Naples around 1982.  He got me my first job with MSC, a position in Japan, back in 1985.  I stayed at your home when I was enroute to Japan.  Then when I came to Washington, DC in 1998, Armand and I would spend a lot of time together, on a personal level, never letting work interfere with our friendship.  He was always a big idea man, filled with inspiring energy, and so proud of his family. I will miss him.
