Beloved wife of 58 years to Hugh R. Chamblee; dear mother of Donna, Janet, and Darren; caring mother-in-law of Tom, Tad, and DeeAnn; loving grandmother to Cara, Alaina, Maxwell, Alexander, James, Margaret, Jordan, Kennedy, and Cooper; and sister of Joanne Lackie.
Carol, an Alexandria native, has been a resident of Annandale for 42 years, raising her family.
A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Friday, March 27 at 10 am at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield. Interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.
