

Charles E. Laskey IV, beloved father, grandfather, and longtime pillar of the Woodbridge, Virginia community, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at the age of 76. He was born on August 2, 1949, in Woodbury, New Jersey, to Helen Graham and Charles E. Laskey III.
Charles spent the greater part of his life in Woodbridge, Virginia, where he built a life defined by hard work and dedication. As the owner of a local car wash, he was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and his commitment to his customers and employees alike.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Louise Laskey, who passed away on September 4, 2011. In the years that followed, he found comfort and joy in the companionship of Denise Lovelace, who remained a devoted presence in his life.
He is survived by his children, Charles E. Laskey V and Katie Truslow; his four grandchildren, Elizabeth Childers, Brian Truslow, Charles E. Laskey VI, and Carolyn Laskey; his great-grandchild, Hailey Song; and his longtime companion, Denise Lovelace.
Charles will be remembered for his strength of character, his loyalty to those he loved, and the warmth he brought to every room he entered. His legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren, who carry forward the values he held dear.
