

Christine was born in San Francisco, CA to Horace and Dolores Ackerman on January 4, 1945. She attended school at Marin Catholic. She married Lawrence Liedtke on November 26, 1976 in Santa Maria, CA. Christine graduated from San Francisco State University and worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Tunnell Elementary School in Santa Maria, CA for 11 years, at Patrick Henry Elementary DOD School in Heidelberg, Germany for 4 years and All Saints Elementary School in Syracuse, NY for two years. She was involved in the church through Lay Eucharistic Ministry, Choir, Marriage Encounter, Family Group, Bible Study, Labor Day Picnics, Cursio, Sisters of La Sallete, Legion of Mary and the Rosary Group. For 18 years she was an active member of the Catholic Homeschool Group in Fairfax VA. Her most important ministry was the 42 years spent to raise her children and grandchildren in the Catholic Faith. She also loved going to daily Mass.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Dolores Ackerman.
Christine is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lawrence Liedtke; daughters Adrienne Baldree (Richard) and Ashlee Floding (Geoff), stepson Phillip Liedtke (Nickie); five grandchildren, Abbie, Melissa, Karie, Lucas and Micah; three stepgrandsons, Collin, Aiden and Andrew; and Godson Daniel Baldree.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mitchell, Phil Liedtke, Geoff Floding, Richard and Lucas Egan and Daniel Baldree.
Rosary and Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00pm, August 10, 2025, at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield VA 22151.
Eulogy will be given at 10:45am on August 11, 2025 before the Funeral Service at Saint Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church, 10500 Zion Drive, Fairfax, VA 22032.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday August 11, 2025 at Saint Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church with Rev Keith Cummings officiating.
Burial will occur at 11:30am on August 12, 2025 at Quantico National Military Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172.
Arrangements are by Demaine Funeral Home.
