Dearest Friends, I was so sad to hear about the loss of Grant today. It's such a shock to us all. As a young officer, I worked closely with Grant as a member of the RRAC II and R&R Command. He was a good mentor and friend to many of us. later, while working as the G1 and COS in Delaware, I became friends with Marianne, who also is a top Soldier and mentor. I wish there were some words to ease your loss, but I want you to know, that we are here with support and prayers for you all. God bless!

I've known Grant since he was in Minnesota before he ever went to NGB the first time, must be since the very early 90s. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are lifted for Marianne and the family. May you be comforted during your time of grief. Jimmy Shafe, Grayson, GA
