David F. Bacheler, age 74, of Arlington, Virginia passed away at his home on June 13, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1950, on the Island of Guam. Dave was a communications graduate of Appalachian State University and spent years perfecting his skills with CNN Turner Broadcasting and NBC Universal. Dave had far-reaching experience in remote television production and studio video engineering environments. He was a colorist specializing in Linear Matrix and Masking Camera Color Alignment. Dave loved Labrador retrievers and adopted several throughout his lifetime. Sadly, his trusted companion, Duke, died at his side. He is survived by his brother, Peter, his sister, Cyndy and two nieces, Kelsi and Kenzie. Funeral arrangements are pending.
