David was born in Massachusetts, and grew up in Illinois. During high school, his family relocated to Northern Virginia, where David would graduate from Annandale High School and spend a majority of his life. David was a proud Virginia Tech Hokie and United States Marine. Throughout his 40-year career supporting the federal government, he was defined by his commitment to his country and his dedication. Yet, it was at home where his dedication shined the brightest. David was a patient, present, and caring, husband, father, and brother. He loved his family dearly and always went the extra mile. David had a remarkable sense of humor and his joyful spirit will be missed.
David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Anita Daniels; his children, Chris, Nathan (Anna), and Ashley Daniels; his grandson, Jonny Daniels; his brother, Roger Daniels; and four loving dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Dorothy Daniels; and his brother, Glenn Daniels.
