I learned of Dave's passing several years after. I was shocked and very saddened by the loss. I grew up with David and Bobby, Jim Chagnon , Joe Adolph, Bob (dukey) Mifflin and a host of others. We had some big fun back in the day. I wish we could have stayed in touch more. When we moved to Colonial Beach, I lost touch with everybody from that era of my life. Sometimes, it takes a jolt like this to make you realize just how great your youth was and the people you shared it with was. I will miss Dave for all time and if anybody wants to get in touch, please do so. I would love to see/talk to any of the old Loisdale gang. I worked with Dave last November and once earlier with a different company.  I was extremely sadden and shocked to hear of his illness and passing.  It was always a pleasure to work with Dave and everyday he made us laugh and smile.  He took great pride in teaching his son everything he knew about his trade.  My condolences to his family.    God Bless and Rest in Peace.

I were shocked to learn of the sudden death of David. It grieves us to lose such a fine person. I wish this didn't have to happen. He was so bright and full of life that none of us will ever forget him. I were David's mother-in-law in 2008,  All my family to regard David another as our own consanguinity. I hope everybody will look upon him death as a release from our own earthly sufferings.

david will be deeply miss by  many of us that knew him from school. i have not seen david in many years but have thought of him many times. your family will be in my prays .

So sorry to hear of the loss of David. I have many many fond memories of David and Bobby growing up in Springfield, Va. I remember sometimes we would run across I95 to get to each other's neighborhoods, since they were just straight across on 95, Loisdale and Beverly Forest. (That was the shortcut). What a bunch of crazy kids, David, Bobby, Dougie, Steve M., Laura Beall, Cathy Carswell, me, my sisters Nancy and Pat(The Groves girls), and so forth. Lots of lazy summer days just hanging out,sometimes at the lake in our neighborhood, sometimes just listening to music at each other's houses.(68,69,70,71). We will cherish those childhood memories with David and Bobby and the gang. May you, David's family, find comfort in your memories as well. God Bless you all.

My condolences to the family. I have many fun memories of David from high school. He was such a nice guy and will be greatly missed.
