

Debra was born 7100th USAF Hospital, APO 633, Wiesbaden, Germany to Adrian L. and Reta F. DelCamp on December 4, 1956. She went to school at Enid, OK and Tulsa, OK. She married David James Davis on May 23, 1982 in Fort Sill, OK. She graduated from Philips University, BS Undergrad 1977, University of Tulsa, MA 1979, and Cameron University, Associate in Nursing 1982. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO, 2 yrs, Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK, 1 year, Immanuel Christian School, Springfield, VA, 4 yrs, and Ad Fontes Academy, Centreville, VA, 15 yrs. She was involved in Immanuel Bible Church, Springfield, VA, teaching Precept Bible Studies for 25 yrs.
Debra is preceded in death by her biological father, Adrian L. DelCamp and stepfather Jack L. VanPool.
Surviving are her husband David Davis, Springfield, Virginia; her mother Reta VanPool, Springfield, VA, daughter Sarah Davis Detty and her husband Ben Detty, Buffalo, NY., son Michael J. Davis, and his wife Renell Decker Davis, Manassas, VA, and her four grandchildren Julie Detty; Adrian Detty, Lillian Detty and Lorelei Davis.
A visitation gathering will be held 6 to 8 PM December 29th, 2025, at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield VA 22151.
Celebration of Life services will be held 1 PM January 26th, 2026, at Immanuel Bible Church, 6911 Braddock Rd, Springfield, VA 22151 with the Pastor Michael Connor and Pastor Steve Holley of Immanuel Bible Church, officiating. Interment will be private at Arlington National Cemetery. Date to be determined.
