Dennis was born with his twin brother Gregory in Germany to Antero and Linda Lacot on March 16,1982, while his dad was serving in the US Army.
As part of a military family, Dennis attended schools in Georgia, Germany, Kansas, Virginia, Nebraska and Washington DC, ultimately graduating from Gonzaga High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
His upbringing instilled in Dennis a love of travel, discovery and learning new languages including Spanish, German, and most recently Japanese in preparation for a future trip he had planned.
His interests included building his own gaming computer, studying psychology, writing short stories complete with book jackets, singing karaoke, and cruising to new places where he could explore all the offshore adventures of ATVs, speedboats, swimming with dolphins, horseback riding and trying local foods. His light, love and laughter brought many new friends into his orbit from every sector of his short but very full life.
Dennis most recently worked with Synergy IT Solutions as a data center engineer in Ashburn, Virginia supporting Capital One Bank. As an ITIL Managing Professional, his skills and abilities were highly valued and contributed greatly to the success of all his professional endeavors. His warm demeanor and friendly approach was greatly appreciated by all those who worked with him.
Dennis is survived by his parents, Antero and Linda Lacot, twin brother Gregory Lacot, sister Jacqueline (Andres) Maldonado, nephew Diego, niece Lucia, and a large and loving extended family.
