"Dook" La Vonda J. Gerner

LaVonda “Dook” J. Gerner, age 61, a resident of Annandale, Virginia passed away on March 10, 2012. She was a secretary in the family business “Jolly Roger Pest Control“ for 44 years. She was also a proud member of the American Legion Post #1976.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony E. Gerner; her mother, Hazel Hobble; two sons, Shawn Gerner and Pete Gerner; daughter, Toni Taborga; two sisters, Maxine Beatty and Lois Shearer; brother, Bradley Hobble; and five grandchildren, Jake Gerner, Katryn Taborga, Alex Gerner, Eliana Taborga and Mia Taborga.

Service and Gathering will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 2-4pm at Demaine Chapel (5308 Backlick Road Springfield, VA, 22151) 703-549-0074.
