Mr. Andrews was born on 9 June, 1922 in Herndon, VA.
Survived by his wife, Margaret, who were married over 63 years. Daughter-in-law Erika Andrews. Grandchildren Stephen and Kristina Campbell, Dustin Andrews, Dede Wright, April Clate. Great grandchildren Kathryn and Andrew Campbell and numerous other great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Edgar was predeceased by his parents (Herman and Ada), eight brothers and sisters, and their beloved son Kenneth.
Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII (1 Oct 1942 - 1 Dec 1945) aboard both the USS Lardner DD-487 and the USS Cleveland CL-55 in the Pacific theater.
Retired in 1987 from Potomac Steel & Supply as a Hardware Supervisor.
Demaine Funeral Home of Springfield performed the cremation services.
