Edward "Ned" Francis Guinivan

Edward Francis “Ned” Guinivan of Annandale, Virginia passed away on May 12, 2026. His sudden loss was unexpected, and his family is profoundly saddened. Ned would have turned 25 years of age on July 22, 2026.

In 2001, Ned, the youngest of five, was born in Annandale to James Michael Guinivan and Susan Ames White. Ned was homeschooled by parents James and Susan, and later took classes in association with CHSYA. He briefly attended Virginia Military Institute before later pursuing a career as an HVAC technician.

Though reserved in his personal life, Ned was always a great lover of animals. He was known for his quiet wit and passion for esoteric knowledge and music.

Ned is survived by his parents, by his siblings Emily Augusta Guinivan, Lucy Catherine Guinivan, Zelie Elizabeth Guinivan, and Henry Lawrence Guinivan, and by two cats, Dorothy and Dashiell.

Visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151, on May 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Bural will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 7401 St. Michaels Lane, Annandale, VA 22003, on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 pm.

Interment will take place at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201, on May 20, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
