Elizabeth Barbara “Betty” Liberty (neé Bann) departed this earth March 22, 2024. She was born to Adeline and Patrick Bann in December, 1928, and raised along with her four dear sisters in Belleville, Illinois. Betty lived a life of service and complete devotion to her country, her family and her Roman Catholic faith. She leaves behind her beloved husband of six decades, John H. Liberty of Annandale, VA; her sisters Ruth Brattensborg of Sartell, MN and Laura Veach of Belleville, IL; her three loving children and their spouses, four grandchildren, four great-grand children and extended family, who, while mourning their own loss, celebrate her unquestioned entrance into Glory, and live in hope of reuniting with her there.
