Ernest Pappas

Ernest George Pappas passed away on May 2, 2018. Born on March 17, 1937 in Wilson, North Carolina, Ernest was the son to George and Lambrani Pappas. He was also the beloved husband of Millie Pappas for 56 wonderful years. For 43 years, he worked as a research chemist at the Food and Drug Administration. Ernest is followed by his two children, Ernest Lee Pappas with wife Yvette Pappas and Ruth Pappas Manson, five grandchildren, Christopher Lee Pappas, Sarah Nicole Pappas, Samantha Lynn Pappas, Zoe Elizabeth Manson and Kyra Lee Manson. A visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home on Sunday, May 6, at 2PM at 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield Virginia, 22151. Services will be held at Saint Johns United Methodist Church on Monday, May 7, at 11AM and will be followed by a reception before proceeding to at Oakwood Cemetery, in Falls Church, for the committal service at 2PM.
