A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Estelle lived her life with fearless independence and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. She carried herself with a quiet strength, and a loyalty that showed up in the way she cared, protected, and stayed present for the people who mattered most. As “Nana,” she was never happier than when surrounded by her grandchildren, who were the center of her joy. Those who knew her felt her unwavering presence, her kindness, and her deep devotion—qualities that make her memory enduring.
She is survived by her three children, Beth (Greg) Parker, Jim (Kim) Gibson, and Clif (Monika) Gibson; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
A memorial service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery—where she will be laid to rest with her husband, COL Edward C. Gibson, U.S. Army (Retired)—will be announced at a later date.
