Evelyn (Izzy) M. Andress, 93 of Alexandria, VA passed away peacefully on April 15, 2012 and is survived by her son Robert Andress: three grandchildren Niktaria (Rulla) Natsika, Tina and Demetri Andress; five great-grandchildren Christopher and Michaela Howard, Kalib Natsika, Paris and Jordan Andress; a host of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews; and her extended family Stephanie Ann Oglesby, and her children Niki, Michele and Tracey Petri.
She retired from the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA where she worked as a Library assistant; she was also a cancer survivor.
A visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd. Springfield, on Wednesday April 18, from 2 to 5 PM. Graveside services will be the following day, on Thursday April 19 at 10 at Quantico National Cemetery.
