Born in Tarlac, Philippines, he has been a resident of Northern Virginia since 1982.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Eleodora "Dory" Payabyab; father of Ferdie Payabyab, Chona Obordo, Rolando Payabyab, Carla Payabyab, Jessie Payabyab and Cecilia Snead; grandfather of Jackie Ky, Jazmine Obordo, Gaby Payabyab, Emily Payabyab, Jared Payabyab, Alex Payabyab, Jillian Obordo, and Jayden Payabyab; and great-grandfather of Jordan Ky, Luna Ky and Logan Ky. Also survived by his siblings-in-laws that are his closest friends: Socorro Vidanes, Victoria McMahon, Carlos Vidanes, and Rebecca Vidanes.
