Glenn will be sadly missed by his many fans of "The Hits of Yesteryear" here in Australia.

I will miss talking to Glenn about records, radio and life.  His taste in music from all eras was exquisite. He had great dexterity on the radio. Glenn was a generous guy.  When we met for the first time at a radio gathering in Gaithersburg, MD a couple of years ago, he patiently explained the design of his radio studio and put up with alot of dopey questons from me about technical stuff.  We were the last ones out the door.  Arrivederci Kemosabe.

My deepest sympathy go out to the Sauter family. Although I never met Glenn in person, I considered him a friend. I will miss Thursday nights when Glenn would broadcast live and we would talk music in the chatroom. My name is Pete Donato and Glenn carried both of my shows on his station.I am known as Pete D. I will miss him dearly.

Elaine, Larry & I will continue to be here for you.  i didn't know Steve very well but he must have been an amazing gentleman and husband as he brought so much love and laughter into your life. Dear Mrs. Sauter and Family,

I was shocked to hear about Glenn's death.  You have my prayers, and may God continue to strengthen you and your family.
I worked with Glenn, when he was assigned to studios.  He was truly a remarkable man,smart, kind, gentle and he knew his music: "OLDIES".
I was a producer with the Indonesian Service.
He would always take some time out and talk with me.  I remember when the children arrived, he was so excited and proud of his entire family.
He made an impression on my life, on how people should be treated and appreciated.
He will be missed tremendously

He bought me so much joy through his choice of music and his enthusiam. A great broadcaster who will be trully missed. He had an amazing broadcasting style and you could tell he enjoyed every minute. God bless you Glenn.

I am the station manager of WRSG, and we proudly carried Glenn's show every Sunday night, plus rebroadcasts throughout the week. He was the consummate professional, and you could tell the smile in his voice. I'm sure he was an even better man than broadcaster. I wish I had met him in person. He fulfilled every request, and sent me a very nice email. He will NEVER be forgotten. May he meet all of his rock and roll icons in Heaven!

I HAVE LISTENED TO THE HITS OF YESTERYEAR FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE CALLED IN MANY TIMES TO LEAVE MESSAGES TO REQUEST SONGS AND ONE TIME GLENN PICKED UP THE PHONE AND TALKED TO ME ABOUT MUSIC FOR ABOUT AN HOUR.  HE WAS A WONDERFUL, NICE, PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE MAN AND WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

Been a listener of Glenn's show since 2006 here in Ohio and was broadcast on several stations here. Profesisonally done complete with those "groovy" PAMS jingles he used. Radio today lacks personality. He joins Dick Clark and Wolfman Jack in that Top 40 station in the sky. Thanks for the great music and memories..you were one of the best!

I listened to Glenn's Oldies Show every Saturday in Syracuse, New York. There will never be another Oldies Show like his.  He had an amazing record collection.

Glenn will be missed, but not forgotten.  I listended to him on Oldies 1050 WSEN for the past few years and called in requests weekly.  Glen always made your request fun and appreciated.  I also lsitened to the website all the time and the Thursday LIVE show.  I will think of him this Saturday at 2 pm - when his show would play on Oldies 1050.  He brightened alot of my days and I will always be grateful our paths crossed.  RIP, my friend.

To the Family: I never worked with your husband or even knew his name. I work at VOA in the Graphics Division, but I also do part-time work with the cleaning company at night! Your husband/Dad use leave around time I would get the bathrooms on the 2nd floor. He would always ask me could he put his trash in the can, and I would tell him sure. Once he walked away, I would say to myself "what a nice guy to ask permission to do something as simple as putting his trash in my can" and it always made me feel good that he thought enough of me to ask. I will miss seeing him in the afternoons because he was always so nice. I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with all of you!

I never met Glenn. I never even spoke to him.  But he considered me his Good Friend.  He said so many times.

For my tastes and preferences, The Hits of Yesteryear was by a wide margin the best station have ever listened to.  Glenn knew I was as enthusiastic about his endeavor as he was, and thus was as happy to play my  requests as I was to hear them.  Sometimes he expressed disappointment if he didn't hear from me for a while.

Every day he keep me entertained in a way that no one else could, and I was exceedingly grateful for what he made available, and appreciated how well he did it.

I really miss him.

My condolences to you, Janet, Suzanne, Stephen and the entire Sauter family. I never met Glenn in person but feel like I did. A great friend and a friend of radio and the music from back when. Many times we talked on the phone for hours. Glenn put a ton of effort into his very well produced radio show. Brought us the sounds and jingles like radio should be. I wanted to get him on to a station in Calif. but he's on the big one in the sky now. RIP, friend. You won't be forgotten.

I cherish the opportunity I had to work with with Glenn in Radio.  He was one of the most knowledgeable colleagues over the years, and to use an old radio term, he was a Good Guy.

My sincerest condolences for Janet, Suzanne, Stephen, Keith and Will on your loss. As you know, Glenn was my lifelong friend, we knew each other since 2nd grade. We had a lot of fun times growing up together in the Bronx. I will think of my good friend often with fond memories.
