Hazel Frances Goforth

Frances Goforth was born in Warrenton, VA to William Floyd White and Nellie Jane White on February 27, 1924. She married George T. Goforth on May 31, 1941 in Arlington, VA. She was involved in the women’s organization P.E.O. and St. Matthew’s Methodist Church. She volunteered for the Northern Virginia Park Authority, was an avid gardener and caring homemaker. She had a great attitude about life, loved to travel, go on walks in the woods, feed the birds and spend time with her family.

Frances Goforth will be greatly missed and is survived by her son George and his wife Patricia Goforth, her grandchildren David Goforth, Lauren Goforth, Rory Goforth, Galen Goforth, Joshua Cagney, Aislin Reddin, her great-Grandchildren Carter, Gavin, Audrey, Lily, George and Andrew.

Frances Goforth’s ashes will be placed with her husband’s ashes in Arlington Commentary, at a future date of service to be determined.
