Age 97, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late F. Paul Miller; loving mother of Gretchen Sue Miller and Gregg Paul Miller; grandmother of Scot Whitcomb Scortia, Mary Kathryn Scortia, Paul Andrew Miller, and Christy Marie Graf; great-grandmother of Grayson Thomas Scortia, Alexander Michael Uttaro, Alyssa Jace Graf, and Tyler Reese Graf.
Mrs. Miller was born in the railroad depot where her father was working in Berks, Nebraska on June 14, 1916 to the late Chester Chalice Whitcomb and Myldred McGuire. She was an active member of PEO Sisterhood and the Methodist Church in Ft. Myers, Florida. She worked for both Downs & Roosevelt and Wagner & Baroody Public Relations firms in Washington, D.C.
Services and interment at a later date in Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helois’ memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital in the name of Aspen Hill Assisted Living.
