Dr. Irving Sackett was a thoughtful and charming gentleman whose life touched many people in a positive manner. I worked with "Irv" throughout his second career with the U.S.D.C. Seafood Inspection Program and found him to be a very unique individual whose smile and sometimes humorous attitude were to be looked forward to within the work place. He will be missed by many people beyond his immediate family. May God be with you all. E. Spencer Garrett, Former Director, National Seafood Inspection Laboratory, Pascagoula, MS
