(Age 90)
Went to be with the Lord Sunday October 5, 2014. Beloved wife of
John Verbeck for 54 years; predeceased. Survived by her brother
Robert and Lenore Zeigler (New Freedom, PA) and her four children:
Tom and Deanita Verbeck (Burke,VA), Barbara and David Carlson
(Fallbrook, CA), Jim and Susan Verbeck (Jacksonville, FL), Mary
Verbeck (San Diego, CA). Grandmother to DeAnn and Scott Cummis,
John Verbeck, Sean Carlson and Amanda Carlson. Great
Grandmother to Emma and Joshua Cummis. She was beloved by all
who knew her and will be remembered for her smile, laughter and joy
of life. Born and raised in New Cumberland, PA. She graduated from
Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. She met John while
attending the University of Pennsylvania. Former resident of
Glenside, PA; Mountain Top, PA; Baton Rouge, LA, and Manassas,
VA.
